FOUR CHORDS OF WOOD concert to be recorded by CBC Radio.

The fabulous Victoria Bluegrass Band FOUR CHORDS OF WOOD launches its second album release at the Mountain Jubilee Show in Victoria! The concert is to be recorded by CBC Radio on Saturday Sept 20.

The live two-hour stage presentation at St Andrews Presbyterian will be recorded for a 60 minute national broadcast on the popular CBC [Radio 2, Vancouver] program CANADA LIVE. This special homecoming event for the boys also marks the release of their newest album Stokin’ The Fire.

The band tours exclusively to the major Bluegrass Festivals and rarely performs in their own hometown. This traditional Bluegrass band knows the music and plays it right… all the material on the top notch Stokin’ The Fire was written by the band! The band is also well known regionally and nationally for their entertaining live performances.

You can have a listen to three select tunes from their new CD [see below]... then ask your local Radio Stations to play more songs from STOKIN' THE FIRE!

This fabulous Victoria BC Bluegrass band have come up with yet another "gem CD" of all original recordings... Phil Shaver & Aaron Muray have teamed again to create some truly great songs on this project and fellow band mates Paul Elliot & Tim Cook contribute some top rate instrumentals as well!

Your requests for radio air play will help move the band towards a much deserved CANADIAN JUNO AWARD nomination. It's pure Canadiana from the Great Pacific Northwest... and it just doesn't get any better than this Folks! Have a listen and see what I mean.
